Highlights from the event below:

Sunday April 22nd:

Sunday's 2007 FEI World Cup Jumping Finals saw Switzerland's Beat Mändli aboard Ideo du Thot take the top honors, with Germany's Daniel Deusser riding Air Jordan Z taking second, and with a tie for third between Switzerland's Steve Guerdat on Tresor V and Germany's Markus Beerbaum on Leena.

Saturday April 21st:

The highlight of Saturday's event was the dressage finals, where Germany's Isabell Werth on Warum Nicht came away with the first place honors. American Steffen Peters aboard Floriano took third.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix kept the Jumpers busy Saturday afternoon, with the event won by Michael Whitaker on Suncal Portofino, with second place going to John Pearce, and Richard Spooner on Ace taking third place.

Saturday's afternoon competition included the World Champion Hunter Rider World Cup Team Hunter Challenge in a rematch of the 2005 event. With this Hunter style team event the focus is on the riders, with each team swapping mounts between rounds. The teams consisted of the European's represented by four Olympic Jumpers riders consisting of Rodrigo Pessoa, Marcus Ehning, Michael Whitaker, and Christian Ahlmann versus the American team of Monarch International Show Circuit Magazine WCHR Professional Hunter Rider winners Louise Serio, Scott Stewart, John French and Peter Pletcher.

Friday April 20th:

Friday evenings Jumping session was won by Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum on Shutterfly from Germany, with Beat Mandli on Ideo du Thot of Sweden taking second place, and Marco Kutscher on Cash from Germany taking third.

On Friday afternoon the Thomas & Mack Center played host to the Grand Prix de Dressage - Invitational, which was won by Mette Rosencrantz on Basquewille.

Here is a collection of images from Thursday evening's Jumping Finals. The standings after the first day of competition are: 1st McLain Ward on Sapphire from the United States; 2nd Marcus Beerbaum on Leena from Germany and 3rd Marcus Ehning on Gitania from Germany.

Tuesday April 17th:

Claire Gallagher on Dartangon

Equestrian jumping action at the Thomas & Mack Center kicked off Tuesday evening in fitting 'Welcome to Las Vegas' fashion with a local amateur gambler's choice competition won by Nori Burby with a total of 1300 points. Nori was first rider out and set a score that no one else was able to match. She won the 2005  Las Vegas Gambler's Choice as well. Participants had a set time to compete and were awarded number of points for each jump negotiated based on the difficulty of the jump. The contestant with the highest total score was the winner.
